Website statistics and preferences

When enabled, server-side counters record daily page views and TestFlight link clicks, not unique visitors or app installations. These counters do not store visitor IP addresses or identifiers. Reports cover up to 90 days; older counters are removed on the next recorded visit. The selected colour theme is stored locally in your browser. Public pages do not set session cookies; the protected administrator area uses session and security cookies. Hosting security logs are separate from these counters.

Guest use and account data

Guest points and recent visit history are stored on your iPhone and are not synchronized to our Supabase service. Guest visits older than seven days are removed from local guest history. When you sign in, we use your account identifier and the name and email supplied by your sign-in provider.

Saved places, visits and cloud sync

Signed-in account data is synchronized to Supabase: saved point coordinates and radii, entry and exit times, corrections, point-action settings and account preferences. Payroll settings can include your rate, overtime rules, unpaid break and year-to-date amounts you enter. This data supports your private account across devices; it is not intended to be visible to other users.

Location permission

Location is used to show your position and monitor your saved zones. Always permission enables background monitoring. You can change permission in iOS Settings. GeoPulse is not designed to upload a continuous GPS route. Saved coordinates and visit records are synchronized when signed in. Apple Maps and address search are subject to Apple's privacy practices.

Sign-in, purchases and device authentication

Apple, Google and Supabase process sign-in information needed for authentication. Apple handles payment and subscription billing. GeoPulse uses verified purchase information, associated with your GeoPulse account identifier, to determine Pro access. We do not receive your card number. Face ID and device authentication are handled by iOS; GeoPulse does not receive a facial image or biometric template.

Service providers and optional actions

Supabase provides account authentication and cloud storage. WHC hosts this website. Hosting providers may process IP addresses and request logs for service operation and security. The website does not include advertising pixels or analytics scripts. Optional music and Shortcuts actions open the external service you select; its terms also apply. A shortcut may independently access or transmit data according to your configuration.

Security and controls

Account data is scoped to the signed-in profile. Device authentication protects access to selected screens but does not make cloud records end-to-end encrypted. No system can guarantee absolute security. You can change app permissions, edit visits where your plan permits, clear history or delete your account in My GeoPulse.

Deletion and history limits

Account deletion removes the account and its associated records from the active Supabase database and attempts to remove local account files on the device used. Offline copies on other devices, device backups, provider backups and security logs may remain subject to their retention periods. A Free account displays seven days; older account history is not automatically deleted when you downgrade. Deleting the app or account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Questions and policy changes

Contact the publisher through the support page about access, correction or deletion of your data. We may need to verify account ownership. Updates to this policy will be published here with a revised effective date. Applicable privacy rights are not limited by this summary.

Hosting region and retention

Supabase hosting region: Canada (Central), ca-central-1

Account records are retained to provide your history and synchronization until you delete them or your account. Free limits the visible history to seven days; it does not automatically erase older account records. Guest history older than seven days is removed locally. Anonymous website counters cover up to 90 days and older counters are removed on the next recorded visit.

Support correspondence is retained for handling your request and any related dispute or legal obligation. There is no automatic mailbox deletion schedule. You may request deletion at support@geopulse.club; we will assess what can be removed and explain any necessary retention.

The current Supabase Free plan does not include project backups available to us for restoration. Hosting backups and security or operational logs are separate from the active application database and follow the applicable provider retention practices. We do not promise that deleting an account immediately erases every provider-held copy. Contact us for help with a specific deletion request.

The database region does not mean all authentication, support or operational processing is restricted to Canada. Apple, Google, Supabase and WHC may process data in other countries under their respective privacy practices. Device backups, exports and offline copies are controlled separately and must also be managed on the devices or services where they are stored.
